Cuttings of sugarcane and herbs, locally adapted tomatoes and peppers, and historical local favorites like lufa gourd and kabocha squash were also exchanged. Guest Speaker Nancy Redfeather spoke on the history and importance of growing and saving locally adapted seed.

The Honoka’a Seed Exchange extends a mahalo to the island community for the outstanding attendance and support. For more information follow them on Facebook or connect with them at honokaaseedexchange@gmail.com.
