As we open the Makahiki Season, join us for our spiritual run on our annual relay around the Big Island of Hawai’i. Inspired by the Pit River Ancestral run in Northern California, Lanakila Mangauil created the Makahiki Pule ‘Aina Hono Run. Join members of the Hawaiian Cultural Center of Hāmākua, other community runners and participants, and visiting native indigenous tribes as we bring blessings to the land. Run as little or as much as you want!

Not a runner? Contact us on how you can participate or contribute to the run within your own community.

Community briefings and meetings will be held by Lanakila shortly. Dates, times, and locations are currently To Be Determined.
